CREATING BEAUTIFUL SMILES WITH
General Dentistry Services
A beautiful smile contributes to a better mood, it affects self-esteem, and it allows us to make a good impression on others.
At our dental clinic, we offer advanced methods and technologies with which we aid your oral health and in turn, your overall health. Our general dental services include fillings and restorations, dental bonding, orthodontics, dental implants, porcelain veneers, dentures and partial dentures, sports and night guards, bridges, crowns, tooth extractions, root canal therapy, teeth cleanings and whitening services.
Composite fillings
These fillings are made of a tooth-coloured composite resin material that is bonded to your existing teeth. The decayed/affected portion of your tooth is first removed, and then filled with a composite filling. The fillings are strong and match the colour of your other teeth, resulting in a smile that looks bright and natural. Composite fillings can be placed for many reasons, including chipped teeth, decay, worn/abraded teeth, closing the space between two teeth. It is normal to experience temperature sensitivity after a composite filling is first placed, however this will dissipate over time.
Crowns and bridges
Crowns and bridges are good options for missing teeth, for covering a tooth that has cracked or that has been restored through a root canal, to enhance your smile, and to strengthen a tooth that has had a large filling placed. Our porcelain crowns blend in perfectly with your existing teeth and offer extra protection to the damaged tooth. Dental bridges literally “bridge” gaps between teeth with strong artificial teeth. Bridges replace one or more missing teeth and are anchored into place by the healthy teeth on either side.
Inlays/onlays
Porcelain inlays and onlays protect and restore compromised or decayed teeth, but unlike crowns or bridges, they only cover a portion of the tooth. Created in a laboratory, inlays and onlays are aesthetically pleasing and extremely strong. They are customized to look and feel like your natural teeth.
Dentures/Partial Dentures
A denture is a removable appliance made in a lab, to replace missing teeth. They are constructed to enhance your smile, and to facilitate chewing and talking. Full/complete dentures replace all the teeth in an arch, whereas partial dentures replace only some teeth on the top or bottom, respectively.
